Οι μεταφορές των videogame στον κινηματογράφο αποτελούν συχνό φαινόμενο εδώ και πολλά χρόνια, με μια ακόμα που ανακοινώθηκε να είναι η animation ταινία Super Mario Bros.
Η ταινία θα έχει τον Chris Pratt ως Mario μαζί με τους Anya Taylor-Joy (Princess Peach), Charlie Day (Luigi), Jack Black (Bowser), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad), Seth Rogen (Donkey Kong), Fred Armisen (Cranky Kong), Kevin Michael Richardson (Kamek), Sebastian Maniscalco (Spike).
The Super Mario Bros. film hails from Nintendo and Illumination, with Universal distributing in North America and co-financing with Illumination. Its international rollout will be announced at a later date. The video game giant shared the news during Thursday’s Nintendo Direct presentation.

Η παραγωγή θα είναι από τις Illumination και Nintendo, σε σκηνοθεσία Aaron Horvath, Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go! και Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) και σενάριο του Matthew Fogel. Θα βγει στις αίθουσες στις 21 Δεκεμβρίου 2022.
